Though it was 4 days Hols, I didnt manage to rest well at all. I was busy like a bee or perhaps more than a bee. Tired like a .... In short, I need more holidays! I didnt took any leave coz i got no leave at all. I'm still under probation jus in case you guys have forgotten that i jus joined the hotel in last december.
Geez....
1st of all, let's start off with my last min shopping. The day before new year eve, I was desperate to shop for my new year clothes. Not tat i didnt shop for new year clothes whereby i'm jus working opp far east plaza... I almost go there everyday after lunch. It's jus that I dun look good in whatever i tried. Accepting the fact that some girls look nice in whatever they wear, jus a simple tee, they can look as nice. Of coz i dun belong to this catergory esp when i have so much excess fats to shed away. More input than output.... that's always the case.
Hanging out at orchard area after work and decided to give up of the idea of getting some tops. None of them seems nice coz i looked kinda"meaty". I admit that i am. I went to holland V and met my beloved Sherin. On the way there, the bus was packed. There was this lady sitting down occupying 2 seats. 1 for herself and 1 for her stuffs. I dun really care that much and jus felt that she was really inconsiderate. But then, there's a pregnant lady standing beside me. Looks like 6 months kind whereby her tummy was very very big. That idiotic lady pretended that she did not see and after 2 bus-stops, i cannot stand it and tapped on her shoulders to ask if those stuffs on the seat belongs to her. I requested her to put her stuffs away for the pregnant lady to sit. And she stared at me and said " i got too many things. Where to put them?" " You can simply put them on the floor if you want to." I know she was unhappy with me but please please please be more considerate... I dun find them giving up the seat will actually cause any pain in you. Duh!
Hey... did i mention that she bakes pineapple tarts for me every year? Without fail, she gave me a bottle of pineapple tarts as well. Went for bbq Stingray for dinner...
Surprisingly, i managed to get an old navy skirt and a topshop denim skirt at last at FOS. It saved my trip to town to grab for clothes on new year eve.
New year Eve
I had yet to pack my room. My room was really in a mess. My books were all over the place. It simply shows how studious Rachel can be. Imagine the Rachel with the bookworm spec, digging into books in a quiet corner of the library with stacks and stacks of books around. * Grinz* Anyway, i dun wear specs, rachel being in a bookworm specs is out. Rachel dun like to read at all, so digging into stacks and stacks of books is out too. For most impt, Rachel never hang out at library. I'm jus being untidy, putting my books around in my room. Some books belong to previous semester, while the rest... are all the current modules that i'm taking. They are still nicely packed in the boxes that were given by SIM. Exactly what was given... they remain what they are. I started my modules already... yet you see my stuffs are still in the box unopened. You will know how hardworking.
Of coz before packing my room, i need to complete an online quiz. Damnnit!!! It's due on Sunday which was the 1st day of New Year. Nice Job unisim.... still wan us to study during offical holidays. It took me an hour to finish my quiz coz i never really read thru the books and notes given. Read them as i was doing the quiz and i did statistics during my A levels. I seems to have return my statistics knowledge back to Miss Chong.
One thing good about online quiz, you can compare answers. Samuel and i were like doing together and discussing comparing answers. So in the end, we got the same answer and submitted. And Samuel being Kiasu, he compared answer with the other classmate of ours, Kelly. I bet everyone did the same thing.
Brother saw me getting some new and cheap stuffs from FOS and wanted to grab some last min shopping there as well. I accompanied him to buy... Guys are easy. They can get some nice tees , go with jeans and they look good. Simple and nice.
By the time we reached home, we only left with a hour or so to pack our room before we set off for our reunion dinner.
Reunion dinner at Prima Revolving Restaurant
It's a disappointment one. The only good thing about it is the free parking and the view you get to see form the restaurant. The moment we were at the entrance, it was crowded. I think they should have some usher to guide the guests in and maintain the order there, taking turns to get into the lift rather than pushing one another. The very very ugly side of Singaporean!!!!!!!Everyone squeezed their way to the lift and up to the restaurant. The food wasnt too good as well. Spend $1k plus there for something that wasnt satisfying at all. We will try a new place for reunion dinner next year.
New Year
Went for visiting from House to house... And of coz there were always times when everyone came over to my place for dinner and gamble. I went for KTV on the 2nd day of new year. Brother drank a lot and i was asked to drive. Cant help being gan cheong when my brother is beside me. Pressure is there... SCARE!!!!
Well, Sing until 3am ... damn shag already man. Jus when i was about to go out, i saw a familiar face. He recognised me BUT, i jus cant recall who he is. I know somewhere... but my memory was failing on me again. So i told him " u look very very familiar but i forgot who you are."HE said we are in the same class previous sem. Oh ya .... business law classmate. U can imagine... he is my classmate not lecture mate and i cant remember at all. Well.... * Shrugs* what to do...
Back to work
I wish for a longer hols. My mood for holiday is here again. My habit of sourcing out for cheap deals for holiday re-surfaces. Last trip was the genting trip in last oct. It's been 4 months already... and i need a break to recharge myself to the on-going rachel at work. So hols anyone??? Let's go shanghai!!!
And one more thing... I will load those pics taken soon. Sorry for the long entry with NO pics. I have too many things to share and vent. ^-^
