Saturday....

Had a long day.... went to work in the morning and met Sherin after that for Xiao long bao @ crystal Jade. To be honest, i'm a little tired after the lunch. Sherin wasnt meeting her bf that day and wanted to go out. I work in town area.... and asking me to go back there again in the afternoon for shopping, i will definitely give u that "argh" expression. I wanted somewhere near and we ended up at Causeway point.

Walked around but nothing much to buy for New Year clothes instead, i got my blazer for work again. U see G 2000 was having sale n prices slashed down by a lot. What a waste if i dun buy right? Well, nothing to buy and there goes sherin's yakking.... " i told u... we should have gone to town area. There are more things to see and buy. Somemore, many shops are having sales!" She's right...but my laziness has overpowered everything.

Did i mention that Sherin always bake pineapple tarts for me every new year? After causeway point, we went to Jurong East to get the ingredients for the pineapple tarts. I'm gonna have pineapple tarts to eat soon....

Practice parking Day... I drove my dad n mum for lunch. Erm... it's jus somewhere near my place and after that.... i spent the entire 2 hours for me to learn parking and still..... it's not progressing much. When can i park perfectly that i could drive the car out myself... If i cant master parking, even i know how to drive... it serves no purpose coz i cant park my car.

Weekend jus passed so quickly and dragging myself to work. Getting to feel the stress on work... No idea why i keep making some careless mistakes here and there. WAKE UP WAKE UP!!!

My driving instructor told me last monday...

" The last time u drove was in July 2006 and ur test is on this thurs. U jus book for 2 practice lessons and u expect to pass?"

I was like " Ya"... i was hoping but not expecting coz i know my chances of passing are real slim esp i was damn rusty in driving. I forgot how to do my parking, where the turning points are, 1st gear half clutch, Crank course..... full of mistakes for the practice session. I was thinking most prob gonna fail this time round...

And I did my last practice jus the day before my driving test. Everything seems okie but who knows i will screw up my test on the very day. Fine...

I woke up in the morning and got myself prepared to get to the driving centre. I booked the 2nd slot which was like 8:25 hrs for the warm up session and 09:15hrs for the TP test. I left my house at 08:00hrs and get a little yucky... coz... i waited until 08:10hrs .... the bus was still not here yet. I only left with 15 mins to get there. It would be definitely fine for other time of the day as u know traffic in the morning is kinda unpredictable. U will never know if it's gonna be congested and most imptly, everyone are rushing to work. NO TAXIS available!!!!

I was thinking of calling my brother. The though that he will "Yak" at me....it jus shiver down my spines. Finally, the bus came and i managed to reach there jus on the dot. Reported at the counter for my warming up with one of the instructor. Still some minor mistakes in the warming up session whereby blind spot... speed control... turning points and PARKING. Out of a sudden i forgot which direction to turn and i turn the steering wheel to the opposite direction that totally freak the instructor out. Well, i'm sorry. I'm jus suffering from short term memory.

The instructor led me to the waiting room and reminded me on my mistakes as well as the common mistakes. He commented i should drive a little faster. I "engraved" that piece of advice in my heart. I was always told during my practice that i drove too fast. Hence, i decided to drive slow. And when i slow down my speed, they asked me to drive faster. (-_-")

Drawing lots for the test route.... i got a route that is not too difficult. Considering the fact that there was not many cars on the road at that time... no major mistakes made in the circuit... The tester criticised me until i'm not fit to be a driver on the road.

And there he goes.... He passed me with 14 demerit points.

I got my driving licence. It's a long long queue jus to apply for my licence. I waited more than an hour in the queue. Not as in many pple have passed their driving test, those pple who pass their basic theory test were queueing up for the application of PDL. U can expect it jus simply took me how long esp when there was an indian lady, she had some enquiries on her licence in India. Well, she could have called and ask instead of coming down to jam up the whole queue. Everyone was like " argh" and when she intended to walk away, it jus gave me the feeling of... " finally finished". Guess what... she turned to the counter AGAIN and ask questions. 3 times.... i counted... she did that for 3 times... How irritating!

Mm.... Yet to get my photo-licence... as it takes 2 to 4 weeks to send over. Hence, my temp licence is jus a slip of paper. *Grinz*

I bought my P-plate and asked my dad to accompany for a spin in my black humble swift. To be honest, I'm a little scare.... especially slope.... and parking without poles. Let me get the hang of it and i shall drive my frenz around.

my blog has become "picture-less". Someone tell me why i keep having problem loading my pictures.

Everyone seems so happening except me and Sherin. We went to Gelare @ holland V last friday for our ice cream. Boredom has simply killed us. Chit chat, Taking pictures, Chit chat, take pictures..... it went on and on - I would love to share but the connection dun allow me to do so. Saturday was a working day for me but it's just half day. I swear it's more tiring to pack my messy office than playing tennis. It jus simply shag me out and the packing has not finished. *Shakes Head* Gotta clear my office by this week. How could that be possible when u need to work and pack the office at the same time?

No dates for that day.... hence, went over to my aunt's place for dinner. My nephew has become so vocal now. He talks a lot.... talks about everything under the sun.... talks about everything that he sees... he does.... he hears. Cute little boy. He's only 2 or 3 years old. His small little action amuse everyone there. I wanna have a kid like tat too!!! I mean next time...

Another week passed. It means that it's nearing to school reopen. After such a long holiday and the struggling exams, i guess i will work harder for this sem. I hate the feelings of worrying about how my results will turn out to be like. One more week to go and u can hear me complaining about rushing out my essays/ assignment. My class list is out. How lucky.... me and samuel chose 3 same modules and turned out none to be in the same class. So what we do.... i requested for a transfer of class, still pending for approval. He has been my study peer for the previous sem. We dun exactly form study group or discuss about our assignments due to our busy schedule , but certainly that revision together on the very day of examination did help a lot. U know exchanging notes to read... tips to each other... Moreover, he is so called the "closest" fren i have there. What can u expect much from part time studies? Everyone are kinda like Hi-Bye frenz. It's hard to develop the kinda frenship that you are able to have during the old school days. What to do... that's life! Anyway, quite curious on who my new classmates are and how they are like. I shall see next week.

I'm those very typical kinda mummy's girl. I'm getting to love my mummy more and more each day. Sound so mushy!!!

Hahaha... mummy's gonna get me a coach wristlet. My goodness!!! She's so nice to me!!! She said She get it for me as my birthday present but the case is.... my birthday just pass in last october.

I got my Elle bag previously for my work. I thought it would be big enough to put my books and those stuffs for work. Who knows it's way too small. I was thinking of getting the bigger version of the same design. And....

My mum got it for me yesterday when she went for shopping with my aunts. She even got for me a skirt for my office wear coz she knows that i'm trying to get more executive wear.

For all the things she has done for me, i jus simply cant stop myself from loving my mummy more.

Hotel is reopening next week. There are jus tons of things to be done that i dunno where to start from. I'm kinda tired. *yawn* Saturday, yet i'm still in office. Anyway, i'm supposed to work on sat. But tmr is sunday. I still gotta go back to hotel for a workshop.

I tot rainy days were gone. Yesterday, it was raining so heavily. I finally managed to finish my wrk and left office at 6.15pm. I made my way through the heavy rain to the bus-stop. I wait for the bus to come. My goodness... a couple of buses came and were fully packed.

Only the 7th bus .. i managed to get it.

How frustrating!!! Raining heavily and cant get a bus home... no cab available!!! What add on to the frustration was those SJI guys . They were pushing and creating a scene there. Didnt their school teach them that when they are in sch uniform, they gotta behave themselves? Pple dun recognise them in person but by their school.

Today, my hotel was having this taxi campaign and i was there to help out. The main purpose for it is to create identification, differentiating us from the rest of the hotel. All of us were situated outside of the hotel lobby to give free chicken rice, a bottle of water and the headrest cover. It's nice to see everyone putting in effort to make the entire programme a success. EXCEPT that marcom manager... she only know how to talk, instruct and did nothing there. Pull a long face... eeee... who she think she is. Only those really junior staffs will follow whatever she say. orh!!!

Anyway, really busy busy busy this week. Hope when hotel reopen next week, i will have more time to breathe. And of coz got the time to go out... more time to blog.... more time to take new pics.

I'm so sorry for not blogging for so long. If u r thinking that i have abandoned this blog, you are wrong. It's blogger that failed on me. Connection is really lousy. I got no idea why. Anyone can help me out with that?

Anyway, I have gotten my results. =) I cleared this semester. Initially, i was kinda worried coz out of 7 questions for the exam, I'm supposed to do 5 essays. I took too long to "adapt" to the examination mood and plan for my essays. I did 3 essays out of the entire paper. This happened for the both papers that i took last sem. I'm pretty dumb actually. I recieved a big big envelope from school, asking me to make payment for my next sem jus the day before the result was officially released on the sutdent portal. The result slip was inside and i did open it on that very day i received, yet it took me days to discover that piece of paper.

Getting dumb these days!!!


Back for some updates:

Damn busy at work these days... It's a big contrast as compared to the previous job. I can go on msn and chat all day long but now i dun even have the time to do so. Busy running here and there... Though busy, i gotta admit it's really a good learning ground.

Met Sherin at Toa Payoh one of the friday(most prob is 2 weeks back). I didnt go there much and that place seems pretty new to me. I coud have jolly well stayed in town to shop around instead of going to Toa Payoh since i'm already working in town. Especially when town has tons of things to see.... U see.... i was being assigned by my boss to go and view a room in Toa Payoh for a colleague of mine who will be arriving Singapore on 1st Jan. Now u see... HR is not easy to be. Still gotta source accommodation and viewing of room.

Room was okie... location was okie as well but certainly i dun find it worth paying 450 bucks jus for that room. What to do... the landlord refused to lower the rent. Dun reduce den dun reduce. No point dragging the entire session for 1 hour jus to listen to the crap, made me reach home ard 11pm. What a long day!!!

On New year eve.... I wanna go expo for the mambo jumbo party. Called Agnes and Sherin to go... but Agnes has her own plan and asked if we wanna join her at double O while Sherin was kinda against going to expo coz it's really far. Blame it on me... how come i flung my driving test that time. If not, distance will never be a prob. Been looking out for places to go. realised that many planned to go to St James. Where did we end up at on our NYE???

We headed down to orchard to do some shopping and back to where we belong- Holland V. Everyone was with a group of frenz to get together. Only me and Sherin. We seemed so unhappening. Told sherin to go to expo but she jus went on Yak yak yak. By the time she regretted, too late to head down. Bleh!!!! So jus chill out up essential brews to self entertain ourselves with PICTURES.

RiNG RING... Sherin's hp rang. It's Kenneth (Sherin's bf) Surprise! He was at holland V with a group of frenz as well. So sherin invited him and his frenz over to join us but they wanna have their meal over at the coffeeshop. Some how and some what... becoz of this small little issue, they quarrelled. What a way to start off 2007!!! hope everything will be fine for them.

Supposed to pick the filipino from airport but... my boss message me that she will do it herself. Hence, i went on with my initial plan -Family day. My family headed down to JB at around 11 plus. Slight congestion at the woodlands checkpoint... certainly, it didnt dampen our mood for an enjoyable day. Clearing the custom, dad drove us to skulai ( if i didnt get the place wrongly) for duck rice. Surprisingly, tons of Singapore cars are there too. It's kinda ulu. Duck rice was nice and cheap. Please dun ask me where... i got no talent in recognising malaysia road. I'm better with Singapore roads. Next, went to jusco to do some shopping. Didnt get much things there. Sigh… I tot I could get some cheap deals there. Time for dinner… dad had already planned to bring us to some ulufied place again. This time, he brought us for seafood at fishing village. This fishing village is even more ulu than the one we went in the afternoon. Way back home… Jam Jam Jam… jam all the way. Kinda expected so no point complaining. Geez… sorry, I will upload some pics soon.
