Back From Holidays!!!

I'm Back... This time, i didn't go with my fav ger... but my Sec sch fren, Jaslyn(pretty ger) Woo...., that fren of mine scare me off man. On the day of departure, we were supposed to be meeting at 7am over at BP plaza to board the coach. I called her at 7.10am and she just got onto the cab not long ago. * ARGH* The coach was to leave at 7.15am. The coach waited... and waited... and waited...

So the driver smiled at me and asked in chinese

The driver: You say your fren is on the way ... So where's your fren now?

Rachel: Should be reaching soon... wait for a while more please...

The driver: Mm... where does ur fren live?

Rachel: Jurong West

The driver: Ok... not too far away.

And after some time, She finally arrived!!! There we started our journey to KL...

We reached KL ard 12++ and zoomed all the way to check in. Guess we were too tired after the long bus journey. But we decided not to waste our time away so leave our things, washed up and headed for our shopping spree...

Went to Sungei wang... Lot 10... KLCC... the sky tower ( which we felt so cheated... it brought us up and wasn't the top level, walked one round, take pictures and 20 bucks gone) and lastly the chinatown. Nothing much to buy at KL... practically things are quite ex there and everywhere we went, the taxi driverSSSSsss cheated our $$$, overcharged us. ( Never on the meter)

After all these, we thought we could be kinda smart and decided to walk back from chinatown to our hotel ( Royal Bintang) It's NOT NEAR at all... and the worse part is we dunno the direction back to hotel, just know that we gotta walk toward the Times Square. Walking for 20 mins, my fren was complaining tired and wanted to take a cab back. The best part was we were at the swiss garden hotel and i told her i remembered i saw Swiss garden from our hotel room, guess shld be nearby. She insisted taking a cab.

We hired a cab and..... it go straight.... turn right.... WE SAW OUR HOTEL. The ride in the taxi was even less than a minute!!! Kinda Dumb!!!

Well, we went for Karaoke in the middle of the night too. It's called Red Box.. the malaysia version of K box. Well, red box was not too bad... it's cheap RM 17.50+++ and it included the supper buffet just like in Taiwan.

~We were damn tired after the KTV ~

Okie.. the day at KL passed. We continued our Trip to Colmar Tropicale. Long winding road... Well, i'll nv wanna go there again. It's kinda small and covered the entire place within an hour. There's nothing to do there. We sleep and sleep the whole day... all the way till we check out. So sad right?

The entire trip... it's not as good as i expected to be. The next one will be better... Certainly!!!

Well, i dun bold it in purpose... Hahaha.... It's just a major wish for dad. That's all...

Next... Saw my new Blogskin? Finally changed a brand new image for my blog... after months ?... I made an effort this time and i'm improving... i got it done very fast.

I got my blog a new song too. Chinese Song....!!! I've nv heard this song before ( I dun listen much to chinese songs. My friends will know ) till i saw the campus superstar this morning. That HC guy sang this song... he sang really nice so i went to search for this song to replace my Korean Song.

The no. of chinese songs that i know are really limited... especially those new ones. But this does not mean that i can't speak chinese well. I was chatting with one of my frens that day. We were talking about the grades i used to get during my school days. So i was telling him i got A2 for my O Level and B3 for my A level in chinese. Got KInda Dumbfounded after hearing that...

So dun judge me by my looks and the way i speak... I can speak chinese fluently.... *grin*

I'm down these days... things just dun go the right way... Chain of matters seem to be coming to me endlessly. Perhaps the holiday next week will be good for me!!! I need to put aside all the mess and rekindle a new lively Rachel.

Certainly, yesterday meet up with my buddy did make me feel so much better. Buddies for almost 4 years aren't something that is fake... she knows me well to a certain degree and we experience very similar things at times. That's why we understand the situation we are in. I won't deny that at times we have real big time quarrel but it's just something that spices up our lives i suppose...

Almost 10 days.... i nv update my blog. I'm not exactly busy... i'm just pre-occupied by the "surviving tactics" for my last week in Carlton. I make it thru my days there, more of struggling thru... Certainly, i'm glad that everything is over. I guess i've been thru a lot more than those pple who are of my age. Tales about hotel industry seems to be true... "It's complicated... The MEANEST survive... " Perhaps it's good for me *Shrugs* It's a learning process, just that i learn thru the HARD way. Yeah.. the hard way...

For good, I wanna have a break again.... It's about time too.

I was so touched the other day... Uncle Yap, Nurse Bong and Connie treat me lunch... some kinda farewell Lunch before i say gd bye to Carlton. It's kinda amazing with the combination...

Uncle Yap who is the Health and environmental Manager, he's already 60++ if i nv remember wrongly, he's 68 this year.

Nurse Bong, She's ard 50- 60 years old.

Connie, my Training Manager, She's in her thirties.

And Me... i'm yet to be 21.

Well, i can really mix ard... I mix ard well with all ages... from young to the respectable elderly... So dun say that i'm anti social anymore.

The place they brought me to is very nice. The place serve nice and cheap food... and i gotta say that the lady boss's public relations skill is real good. She makes the customers feel impt and their opinions are looked into. Jus like She personalised the waffles that we ordered... It's a pity that the location of the eating place is a bit out of no where.

BUT... i will still recommend there. Looking forward to go there again.....

Saw the new lady who is replacing me today. I sincerely do like to leave some gentle reminder for her. But... that woman and her seemed to have some kinda gd relationship so i better dun be busybody and get myself into unnecessary trouble.

Gosh... It's my stupid act that cause my driving test to delay for a few days to 13 July 2006. That day, I was jus curious to see when was the next driving test date available. Surprisingly, there's some empty slots on the 3 July. I was hoping to get my driving licence as soon as possible... you know...I just wanna get it done and over... Hahaha... here comes my stupid thinking... the web does not allow me to book another slot as i already have booked my test. So... i have to do is to cancel the test that i've booked and RE-BOOK another test.

Yeah... I cancelled my test and tried booking an earlier date for test. Argh... who knows... The web only allow me to book my test after initial booking date. I'm like a fool man.... I wanted to have an earlier date for test so much and ended up having my test delay for a few days more. *Totally Regret for my itchy hands*

Just to share with u guys about it just in case u wanna book an earlier date... Dun end up like me ...

Headed down to the career fair at Suntec with Sherin today. It's more like an education fair. Almost 90% of the booth are about furthering studies so i was kinda disappointed. Hahaha... Well, at least something cheer me up.... i get to see my all time FAV guy there. Orh... Still so nice... *grin*

We left the career fair after a short while coz Sherin claimed that she was kinda giddy due to the crowd. Yeah... it's like that... when it comes to shopping, she's not giddy anymore. I really have to control the amount i'm eating... we were hungry then so we gave an excuse to say that we need to fill our stomach to have the energy to have our shopping spree. Both of us ate the grilled fish set and 5 sticks of satay each... and our dessert... Almond Jelly with longan.

I'm usually the one who is buying shoes or heels. And guess what...

Sherin: How can i buy so many pair of shoes today?

Rachel: Maybe u need them... or u get influenced by me... Hahaha...

Sherin: Yeah... u r the one who alwyas buy so many pairs of shoes... see the storage of shoes u have at home, u can practically open a shop....

Ya... i'm like thinking... that's why i'm not buying anymore... Mummy's complaining about it. I got no space to place my shoes.

Well, i did bought something today too. I got my Perfume.... Escada Island Kiss. I like it... Sweet and fruity smell!!! I've gotten 2 pairs of earrings, adding on to the massive amount of earrings that i have. Some of them i haven't wear it before. I think it happens to many girls too. We tend to buy a lot of things and end up not wearing or using it.

Alright... Sleeping time.... Zzzzz.....

I'm like really disappointed today with the interviews i went. Not that i was not selected but is the pay they are offering is way too low. I was so keen to get into government job being civil servant. However, to consider many aspects, i don't think i will accept the job in MOT.

I guess i'm really tired of searching for jobs, going for interviews.... Market is bad!!! You know... employers out there only wanna hire some diploma holders at a low salary. A level Students like me jus gotta really try our luck everywhere.

I start to think about tendering my resignation issue again. Did i do the right thing? Maybe i should bear with tat woman a little while more... Perhaps i did the right thing to tender. It doesn't mean that i'm working under tat woman, it's my duty to suffer from mental torture from her... being like a maid or even a slave to her. I'm confused.

Or Perhaps i should not think so much since what has been done cannot be undone !!!

Upcoming interview tmr.... I'm wishing for the best....

I went down to the driving centre yesterday to top up my account in there so as to book my driving test date.

ANNOUNCEMENT: My driving test is on the 11 July 2006.

You know, i've booked the earliest date i can get but how "early" it is .... JULY!!! Argh... It cost me so much. I have to book 6 revision lessons then i'm able to book my test. Another additional amount of money spent this month.

Calculation breakdown

1 revision lesson = $67.20

6 revision lesson = $67.20 x 6
= $403.20

Booking of the driving test = $105.50

Total amount to spend on booking the test= $ 403.20 + $105.50
= $508.70

THIS IS EXPENSIVE!!! =(
