Do Monks use laptop?

Yesterday, i went out for my lunch with my colleagues. On the way walking back to my office, we saw this 2 monks walking out of the building. We were like thinking how come there are 2 monks appearing here. The more we think, the weirder we feel about it. We turned and looked at 2 monks the second look.

Duh!!!! They are carrying laptop bags. They came here to services their laptops.

I mean i dunno monks are so high tech these days. To my impression, monks are always in the monastery, chanting, meditating and eating vegetarian food. Perhaps a little more than these... but as for laptop, i never see monks using one before. Are they going to have computerised system for those monastries? Using the laptops to keep track of the donations received and carefully keep track their expenses?

Blogger

Got a testimonial from Kelly in frenster. I'm flattered with the stuffs that she wrote and of all, the one that surprised me the most is she's my faithful blog reader. I mean other than Simon and Joan ( the only 2 active "tagger"), i do know that some of my frenz do come and drop by to see from time to time. I didn't expect a faithful blog reader. Well kelly, i went to ur blog too and saw got no updates. Do Update more often!!!

I love reading blog esp when i'm at home, nothing to do. I mean okie, i admit i'm a little KPO. I jus like to read about how people are getting along in life, how do different people think and react on the similar situation enocuntered, how their love story started, how their photo can be edited until so nice... how... how... how...etc. Reading blog and blog hopping have eventually be one of my hobbies. I don't lead a happening lifestyle to go out and havoc, having Tons of happening events to blog about like those famous star bloggers. Dun even ask me when was my last clubbing session. I can't recall. Hence, it developed an interest to read about havoc events going on though i wasn't involved. Plus it can pass time very quickly.

I'm Still Sick

Jus wondering if my tiredness is in-born. How can a person feeling so tired everyday regardless of the amount of rest she has taken? Perhaps it was the late night.... or maybe i'm still on the verge of recovering from the post celebration of the germs in my body... or it must be the medicine causes it. I'm jus looking forward for the weekend to come and that's it!!!

My brother started with his new job. I guess working in a Japanese company is jus so diff. My brother told me that they are supposed to assemble and do exercise together every morning. Orh... that's so cute. I simply like it!!! Exercises they do may not be those vigorous kind, jus like the stretching exercises that most of us did in back in PE lesson. It is believed that by doing a little exercises in the morning will make a person healthier and refreshed. Good practice!!! Should adopt it from Japanese company.

My sore throat is recovering after taking the Lozenges that i bought from the pharmacy. I wanted to say that i've recovered almost 80% jus left with my cough in the morning and now my flu cling on me tightly. Yes, down with flu... it seems like a package of having fever, cough, sore throat and flu. U simply can't leave any of them out of the "package". Recovery percentage drop to 55%. I was so sick yesterday with my nose problem during the visual classroom which is like a web training together with pple in Singapore and overseas. In the end, due to some problems in Bangalore, we are unable to continue with our trial in the new project. I've been hanging on through the 2 hours and in the end, trial is postpone to today.

I'm not feeling any better for my nose. I still got blocked nose. I still have to use plenty of tissues to keep me going. I still have to breathe with my mouth and i still got the skin on my nose peeling. The medicine that the doc gave is still not working at. Almost finishing the entire course of medicine, I'm still only a tiny winy better.

Sick for almost 1 week!!!

Sick Rachel nv rest over the weekend

Saturday:

Went down to The SIR building. Opps, should be ICA building, no idea when they have changed their name, never noticed it at all till i was there. I was there to change my passport photo alone. This was the one of the few times in my life, stepping into the building. Well, no worries, i was not lost there and managed to get my things done. I only brought one of my photos there and the officer told me that 2 photos were needed for the replacement. That means i still gotta spend $$ there and re-take my picture. The queue was extremely long. I waited for so long to take the picture and the staff was so rude.

One look at me and said " Your hair like that cannot hor. Eyebrows cannot be covered. "
Alright, fine. I put some water n pushed my fringe to the side.
She grumbled again " Your fringe drop. Do it again."
Ok, I cleared it once again.
She just can't take the picture quick and fast, taking her own sweet time.
There she went on again" Can u just clip up ur hair?"
" I don't have clip and i think it looks kinda nerd to clip."
"Take the pin and clip it up." Staring at me fiercely.

Duh... Fierce woman. How could she treat a sick lady like me this way? Not as if the picture she took was damn nice, some professional pic. I looked horrible in the picture, i swear.

After all these irritating encounters, i realised the photo-taking took really long and i had missed my queue No. Luckily, not necessary to re-queue again, jus approach one of the available officer will do. Save me time for that.

It was around 10++ in the morning when i finished settling my stuff in ICA. Next destination would be the UOB bank. I need to apply this Giro thing for the season parking for my swift. According to my brother, i need to go down to the bank and get it endorse. Reached there, the guest services officer told me it's only for the thumbprint account then is needed to come down to the bank personally. If not, can just sign in the form and send to the respective address. Argh... Wasted trip!!!

Not to worry, i still got time before my facial appointment at 2pm. I headed down to Tanjong Pagar to cut my hair and highlight my hair. Queue again!!! 2 people in front of me. What to do but to wait... There's this lady who came in. I'm 3rd in the queue and she's 5th in the queue. She waited for like 5 mins and stood up to approach the hair stylist trainer that she is in a hurry. Okie, in a hurry...So what? She just waited for 5 mins and can't wait anymore. I've been waiting for like almost 30 mins there. She wanted to dye a base colour for her hair + highlight and need to leave by 12:45pm. Funny woman... it's already 12 pm by then. She expected to do finish doing the 2 steps within 45 mins? Is she nuts? The hair stylist trainer told her the fastest they are able to finish is 1.5 hours. And she immediately say ok lor.

I was thinking... Are you sure you are in a hurry? If u r, u won't come so late to get your hair done. Arrive early to do it. Didn't u say that u MUST leave at 12.45pm and extended another 45 mins to 1.30pm to leave, u say u can make it too? Contradicting right? The hair stylist trainer told her " I can't let u cut the queue jus like that, still gotta ask pple in front are they willing to let u 1st?"

*GrinS* It's gonna be my turn next by then. So she asked me n the other auntie. The auntie kept quiet and refused to answer ( but can see that she dun wanna let that lady cut queue) so practically, i hold the crucial decision. I said "No.... i'm in a hurry too. Certainly unwilling to let u 1st." She stared at me hard... ya... now trying to talk big now... " I don't mind paying more to do my hair 1st." I was like thinking... yeah go ahead man... So in the end, she paid so much more to get a PROFESSIONAL to help her to dye her hair. Who cares man... She's one kind of ah lian wearing a tube and jeans, carrying her LV bag. Since she's so rich, pay more to get ur hair nicely done.

Got my hair layer and my hair highlighted blonde. I think my hair looked a bit messy now coz layered hair causes my hair to curl out. After my hair done, I went for facial. What a busy day to beautify myself! 2nd thoughts...my face swell terribly after facial. Always say thanks to the invention of cosmetics, able to cover my swelling well.

On the way back home, Sherin finally remembered me and asked me out. It's been weeks and we usually meet quite often. If u have been reading my blog, u will know why we have not been meeting up. Dun bother to say everything once again. Settled with Holland V. But i went back home 1st for a rest and told my dad i'm going out later.

Dad: Going holland V again with Sherin?

Rachel: Yup... so smart.

Dad: What time are u going?

Rachel: Should be ard 8pm

Dad: Hahaha, jus nice. Your brother is going to Holland V at 8pm too.

Rachel: Really? Can send me there and on the way pick sherin from the bus-stop. Where are u going?

Brother: Wala Wala. Can lor... U call her later to tell her

Rachel: Wah, happening. Go drinking leh. We only go n drink tea. I'll call her now.

Sunday:

Met up with Milton, Likang and their 3 other frenz. I didn't manage to catch their names. I'm sorry. Perhaps i'm jus feeling too sick. At least, i still manage to do a little catch-up with Milton. Yeah, i kinda only know him out of the rest. Took a few pictures... but i looked really ill so i'm not showing the group pic that includes me.

The Sick Rachel

I wasn't feeling kinda well on last friday. As i have blogged, i suffered from bad sore throat. Well, that's not the killing point. I was feeling cold n restless, lying on my L-shape sofa with my blanket with such a hot weather. My mum was saying " We bought durians today but u seem ill. Most prob u can't eat."

Popped 2 panadols immediately. I can't make it a miss to eat durians. That's my favourite. Feel so much better after that, i mean after taken the panadol. I went to measure my temperature 37.5 !!! Argh, how could that be? I'm feeling fine and yet still having fever. My fever must have gone up at least 38. Heck man... I still ate my fav durian.

No fever, No sore throat anymore.

But i suffered from flu and a bad cough now. It's kinda impressive right? All germs seem to be having some kinda gathering in my body, partying away. So sick of it man. Perhaps being ill may not be a bad thing, who knows i will lose some weight? Haha...

Encounter something funny last friday. My colleague, James, and me went home last so we were supposed to lock the door and armed the security system. I had never done it before so i was depending on James to do it. Right, we went to switch off the lights and headed to the staff entrance to arm the security system.

Done!!!

Wait... how come the light in store is still on? So now, where's the switch for the store? Izzit in the store? But we do not have the access to the store. Where? WHere? WHERE? Jus when we were searching half way, the alarm went off. We were like.... oh Shit man... what to do about it... James went to key in the password and stopped the alarm. Right... the alarm rang for like 15 to 20 sec. Stopped the alarm, found the switch, locked up the office.

On the way back home,

Rachel: Will the police being alert when the alarm went off ?

James: I don't think so, coz we managed to stop it in a short period of time. Anyway, last time when i locked the door, it also went off.

Rachel: Oh, so this is not the first time? Chey, i thought will alert the police... Then i got nothing to laugh at now.

This very moment, my handphone ring.

Wee Lian: Rach, the police called and informed us that the alarm went off.

Rachel: Oh ya, just now.. but we already stopped the alarm.

Wee Lian: Got armed the security alarm thing?

Rachel: Yup... blame it on James man... He's the one who did it.. and happily laughing away now... some more not the 1st time alarm went off... Hahaha...

Well, at least we know how to lock the office now. Lesson learned!

i've got a bad sore throat

Haha... was looking forward to my brother coming back from taiwan last night. Ok, i'm keen in the things he bought too. But we are quite close. Believe or not. He bought back a jacket, a top, a voodoo doll and lots of taiwan goodies for me.

And what i suffer from today:

Sore throat

Recalling on the goodies that i ate yesterday night.
1) The Jelly
2) Mua Chee
3) Fried Ikan Billis
4) Pineapple tarts

The culprit is the Fried Ikan Billis. I'm feeling so sick with my sore throat. Perhaps fever might jus come in on the way Or maybe the flu bug is joining the crowd too coz i started to feel a little cold and having blocked nose.

Hope for a speedy recovery. I still gotta go down to Lavender to change my passport photo tmr, followed by either facial at Chinatown or go n re-touch up my hair colour at Tanjong Pagar.

My top ranking frequent hangout is Holland V. Now, i shall proudly declare that Queensway shopping centre will be my 2nd fav hangout. Ok, there's nowhere to chill out at queensway. The fact about why i start falling in love going to queensway is i can find good and cheap deals there.

To most of the people, queensway is a place to buy sports accessories, shoes... well, it's just anything about sports u can find it here. But who knows that it actually sells a lot of nice clothes and shoes here especially when it falls on the Great Singapore Sales Season now. Obviously, small little shops there will not wanna lose out and offer discounts to the items sold. I don't mean to spend $$ again when i gotta save up for tons of things such as for my car, my studies ( I'm starting school in July or August i think!) and of coz for my Bangkok trip. I can't wait till i'm setting off to Bangkok to start buying things. It's such a long wait.

I'm telling myself it's alright to grab a small item since i have not been buying anything recently. A small item = ONE top or ONE pair of shoes. God knows... i saw this:

I mean it's really tempting. I jus went in to browse through the collection of shoes the shop has. The heels there are pretty. It's true!!! I will post the pictures of the heels i bought soon when i get the camera back from my brother. Bought 2 pairs of heels which cost me only 20 bucks. I feel so happy today after buying the heels. Of coz, i made use of my lunch time fully to shop for other stuffs. Gosh, i saw a lot of nice nice tops and skirts. The skirts are on 50% discount. I saw the prices range from SGD 20 + to SGD 30+ and they are prices before discount. *Grin*

I love skirts. One of the reason is i got huge thighs and huge calf muscules which developed after i started playing tennis. Okie... with all mentioned, i know it dun look nice on skirts too but if i look worse with jeans or pants, it's too tight for my muscular legs.

I shall pop by to Queensway next week again or next next week ( coz it's my pay day) Hopefully by then, sales are still on, nice stuffs are still available.

MORE womanly LESS girly

I'm sleepy... the packet of Milo Nuggets can last me awake for barely 30 mins... and came along was... Ru-Jin asked me out. It's one of the rare days that he is free so practically if i dun meet him this time, i dunno when will i be able to meet him again. U see... last time i saw him was when i was in Year 2... when i was 18 years old. Okie... i tend to have a lot of frenz whereby i just meet them few years once.

Actually, i pushed it away coz i'm too tired but still meet him in the end. Well, met him at Holland V but he decided to bring me to this "Ulufied" place near the MOE building for a drink. Not as "ulufied" as he said, there's still many pple there watching soccer... drinking away. 2 big screens for soccer... I mean not those plasma tv... but is viewed through projector kind. We were at Bistro Fabulous... seems not too bad a place to hang out.

After the drink, we walked ard the area n found out the 7-11 store there is closed. I tot 7-11 should be opening 24 hours???? and it's written there:

Monday to Saturday: 7am to 7pm
Sunday and Public Holidays: 7am to 3pm

*Scratches my head*

And according to Ru-jin, he said that i look different from last time.Different? I looked pretty much the same as before. In what way? He commented i look more womanly less girly.

Romantic Mum???

Went for tennis in NTU on sunday afternoon... Damn shag after that... but who knows.... Dad said y not let's go for a spin... Mm... I guess my parents would have wanna go in to Malaysia for some supper but too bad... i have yet to change my passport photo. U know, it was back on March whereby i went to KL with Jaslyn... the Malaysia checkpoint can't recognise my face. I mean the pic in my passport was taken when i was 15 i think. I dun change that much.... even so right... i think he dun need to actually write " Change Picture" in my passport. ARGH!!! So... it's like unless i go n change it, if not i can't travel out of Singapore.

Back to Sunday, Dad wanted to go for a spin... so my mum suggested to go West Coast Park. So dad drove all the way to West Coast Park. The Mcdonald was crowded with those soccer fans. It was dark at the park... no wind... lots of mosquitoes... So mum decided to change destination to Mount Faber.

Mount Faber was so much better but we nv hang ard there for long coz dad n i gotta work the next day. Haha... my fren was saying that "u got a romantic mum...." Romantic? My Mum? She's jus one kind of mum who got lots of ideas and "patterns"

I reached home at 12++ my gosh.... I'm lacking of sleep this week again.

Old FrenZzz Sessions

Friday Night ( 16 June 2006 ) :

Gotta see my sec sch fren, Sheila... Went to Marina square for dinner at this Jap eating place, Azabu Sabo. I wasn't very close with my sec sch frenz... the one that i kept consistant contact is with agnes. I did some updating on my sec sch frenz current status from her. At least she is contacting so many more than i do. On top of that, we did a little of gossiping. Well, girls what... what can u expect when girls are together... for sure a little gossiping will incur. Can't blame on us... we are just born this way.

Saturday ( 17 June 2006 ) :

Met up with my primary schoolmates, Trish and Wing Kui. Perhaps i'm a little tired... i seemed to be stoning from time to time. Sorry about that... promise i will be giving u guys 100% attention the next meeting. My memory is failing on me once again. They were talking about our primary schmates... blah blah blah.... this guy went chinese high.... that guy went NJC... this girl went bt panjang govt high....and i dun recall a single thing but jus find their name sound really familiar. We went to watch the movie, Just my Luck... was okie for me... perhaps i'm expecting more for this movie whereby i saw the webbie text describing it to be really interesting. But my 2 frenz enjoyed it.

Went on going to Swensen for a small bites. Trish was so funny... we were ordering our food n drink that time...

Rachel: I want 1 treasure Island float, 1 ice chocolate float and 1 mango tango. Also, 1 Fries and 1 calamari.

Waiter: Let me repeat your order ... 1 treasure island float, 1 ice chocolate float, 1 mango tango, 1 fries and 1 calamari...

Trish: and 1 photo too.

The waiter was stunned. Ordering photos? Hahaha... Right, the waiter helped us to took a pic.

And on this meeting, Trish and me decided to go Hong Kong next year.... with our Hong Konger, Wing kui, to guide us there. Well, need to have some times for my savings if not we could have settle for the HK trip in this August. It's always good to have someone who know the place inside out to guide us... grabbing the cheap deal... eating the best food and most importantly, someone who know how to speak Cantonese well. What's more to say whereby he is carrying a cool handphone which is not available in Singapore. The phone comes with this 3.2 megapixels which is like a digital cam already... My gosh... I want the phone too.

Wing kui was saying can intro me one fren to me since i got no bf. Right.... i shall now entrust Trish as my manager to screen through candidates... if she say yes... then it would be a yes... coz she always say my standard is very high... which is not true... let her do the screening and see what's her say.

Yesterday tennis practice with coach was marvelous. He's singing praises on my improvement. Though it was about only 1 hour 15 mins, i was dead beat. Time to change a new racquet... but gotta save up 1st... so i went to my coach's car which is practically like a garbage truck... full of things inside. He has like more than 10 odd racquets in his car. Since he said that is time to change to a better racquet and i need to save up 1st, i went to ransack his garbage truck to borrow a racquet to play for the time being. But i still love my own racquet... feel more comfortable with it.

Tomorrow noon, will be meeting 2 pri sch frens but one of them i have not seen him since pri 6. I think it will be kinda fun to get together or it will be damn weird, got nothing to talk about.

It's kinda meet old frenz session this week. Hopefully more pictures to upload for the next post... not taking much of pictures these days. My blog is getting kinda dead with no pictures.... and frens do tag... give my tagboard some life.

I've got mixed feelings!

I've seen my swift yesterday night after my brother came back from Serangoon gardens meeting his Tekong pals. I'm the one who wanted a car so much... okie... refused to talk to anyone when my dad did not wanna go down the other day to view the car. Can't keep still for the car to be out and stuff...

What's wrong with me?

Here came my swift yesterday... and i seemed to be the least interested one in the family. Having Mixed feelings... Not to mention that i'm not happy with my swift... of coz i'm delight... i've gotten a car even before getting my licence. ( Right, though is a shared one with my brother, u know i'm the shareholder) I mean who will be able to be like me... dun talk about those who are born with a silver spoon... flirty rich kind... I'm talking about normal pple...

The car is not too bad... i did some testing to it. I guess the car is kinda round and i just have difficulties gauging the front and the width. I'm not used to the car... perhaps i've been driving that BBDC 's civic and feel so diff on my swift.

It's like a invisible stress incurring somewhere... I've gotta be extra careful driving my own car... If anything my brother will come Yakking at me... Argh!!! And i have to pass my driving by this July. Yeah, everyone will be saying... no prob with that... just relax.. practice a few more times n u will get used to it. Gosh... i'm losing my confidence somehow about driving after yesterday. I dun seems to be interested in touching my own car for the time being.

I was even happily planning to re-schedule my tennis to weekend rather than on a thurs coz i'll be the one driving on the weekends.

Thinking to drive to cosy bay.... east coast... to chill out with frenz

I'm extremely tired today... Certainly not because of tennis yesterday... coz when i was traveling to Pines club, it started pouring at PIE Eng Neo exit there. It was considered kinda near to Pines club... I was like thinking.... No tennis today again!!!

Surprised... when i reached there, it wasn't raining....Ok i shld phrase it as The rain had yet to come. I'm able to play for half an hour and it started with cloudy.... followed by windy and there comes rainy.... DUH~~~ I almost can swim in the tennis court.... It was so heavy that even we were at the shelter... rain water jus came "splashing" on me n my coach~~~ Argh... So we left that lousy shelter and headed down to the reception to continue talking rubbish...

Since tennis was kinda impossible to continue, coach drove me to Lucky Plaza.... We went to his fren's tennis shop. Shoes down there is quite cheap.... 50 bucks for a pair of Wilson tennis shoes.... quite nice... look a bit similar to mine but their's nicer... haha... so tempted to get a new tennis shoes... Right right right.... i gotta cut down my expenses... gotta bear that in mind!!! Well, i gotta see how the string of the racquet brand picture came about... they have this template and jus coloured it over with this red crayon-like thingy... Chey... i tot how the "picture" of the string came about...

I do have some pictures on the "Colouring" session but i used my HP to take. The sad thing is i dun have the USB adaptor to load the photos now... i wanted to buy the USB blue tooth adaptor. Heard from Sherin that Her bf got one for her in Lucky plaza at SGD 20++ only. I went to look for one yesterday too... it was like all 40 - 50 bucks man... where got 20 bucks one... bluff me!!! Plus the guy in the shop is bloody damn rude... totally spoilt my day... What's wrong with jus looking ard? He's expecting me to buy. Well, i never asked him to run to the other shop to intro me other USB. RUDE....He was down there grumbling... shld tell him earlier that i'm not buying, waste his energy... Hello... jus becoz he's the typical ah beng and i wasn't the Ah lian kind that suits his liking he gotta be so rude? I got no fancy in becomin one too. Duh... Brainless guy... being a sales person, u shld know that it is a customer oriented kinda job... provoking a customer is a last thing that u can do...

In search for a briefcase for my brother. Briefcase sounds a bit old.... Okie...it's a bag for him to use for work. That sounds a bit long too. In conclusion, it's jus a bag. I promised my brother that i will get him a bag when he entered in the workforce. That's my present for him. Got a Goldlion bag that cost me SGD 100+++ Thanks for the Great Singapore Sales!!! I'm loaded with my tennis gear (My tennis shoes, slippers, shirt, shorts, towel, my bathing set, my Adidas body deodorant, my hair cream and so on... all dump into my big Adidas bag. My coach called that a rubbish bag) + my racquet...I'm so shagged after getting the bag... which added on to the weight of the stuffs i was carrying. Can imagine... carrying so many stuff and walked for so long... so many places ?

And i'm all alone... doing the shopping... carrying tons of stuffs...yeah... poor me...

Congrats brother~~~!!!

Congratulation brother.... He got a job.... That's really fast... got the job on his 2nd interview... I'm so happy for him... What can be happier when he is willing to pay ard 80% of the car instalment coz his pay is so much higher than me...

Haha... my brother always says that last time back in sch time, he was the one who experienced the 1st time... like 1st one in the family ( as in me n him only) to go to sch...1st one to take exam... he would be the one who told me how school was like... how i should prepare for exam.. what were the likely things to come out for exam back in his time and things to take note... Perhaps this contribute to one of the reason why my results are always slightly better than him.

Now, i'm the one who stepped into the working society first as compared and of all, I'm in the Human Resource line. Pretty experienced in interviews.... haha... Know pretty much how to deal with interviews... I did give him some pointers... but not sure if they are useful to him that makes the interview a successful one.

Nevertheless... I'm a happy child... I got my brother who adores me so much ( paying 80% of the car instalment *grins* ) and i'm quite happy with my job now.

My Solvil Titus Watch

I dropped my fav Solvil Titus watch on the floor the other day and one of the number on the watch face came off. I'm like .... What the shit man... the watch has only been with me for barely a year... i got it last Xmas!!!

Luckily my brother reminded me about the warranty. Oh Yes.... the watch is under warranty!!! Oh now, my favourite watch is under servicing.... argh... only be able to get it back in 3 weeks time...

For the time being, i only can wear my DKNY watch .... I need more watches....!!!! Ok it's a want not a need...

Seems to be getting in touch with my " long lost " friends. Chat with Rujin online today. Not again we are friends that have not been meeting up for a long long period of time.

I owe him a big thank you... Well, Rujin is the one who helped me for my A level project. Not saying that he helped me to do my project or what, but he gave us a great help. My project group back then was supposed to come up with something in regards of the theme "Synergy". So we came out with this idea of having computer company and hotels working hand in hand.

How do we do about that?
We wanted to have computers with broadband in every single hotel rooms. So... it can actually focus on the business class hotels which is so called convenience for the business traveller. Yeah, it's kinda crap... but we just wanna promote our idea and made it sound like it will really work, sound it's a perfert idea that will be going to boost the S'pore economy. Crap right?

Well, Stupid project required us to get interviews. HELLO... interview? Who will be interested to entertaining A level students like us...wanting to complete our A level project and hand it over to MOE for our grades? No hotels bother about us... we walked down the Orchard Road to ask each and every hotel for interview.

Negative replies that what we got from them.

And one last resort... i got my uncle to help me out for the interview. Another crappy thing... he works in the hotel as some department head but he's under the Security department. What's to do with the hotel room thingy interview? We were thinking at least he works in hotel for years and he will know something about it. Anyone we could get at the moment... we just grabbed esp when the deadline was nearing.

And there comes Rujin... We needed to interview someone who deals with computers... nothing surprising... we could not get anyone once again. Who knows... Rujin set up a company that was dealing with wireless networking. Grabbed him for interview again... He's another young entrepreneur... he's a student in NUS when he set up his own company.

That interview was the last time i saw him. I was 17 or 18 then. 3 to 4 years just passed like that. And not again we mentioned on how long we have yet to meet... blah blah blah.... and the usual updating questions...

And he asked me to get my butt out of the chair to learn Salsa. I Love Salsa.... i guess it's gonna be fun but some how i just got no talent in dancing esp when i'm famous for my laziness... He gave me this gd idea...
"Go and learn Salsa.... we can perform Salsa on your birthday party!!!"
It will be damn cool man... show for the night.... haha....

Well, let me consider 1st... i wanna learn so many things... from learning languages like Korean, Japanese, Spanish and thai .... to learning sports like wakeboarding and sailing... to different kinda dances, Salsa... hip hop...Jazz

Rich Richie Kelvin

Meet up with Kelvin yesterday... last time i met him was like years ago... approximately 2 to 3 years ago whereby i'm still a young girl... and now i'm turning into a young adult once it strikes 21 October 2006.

Come to think about how i got to know him.... it's kinda dumb... It started of with Joan~~~ Joan is my British council classmate. Well... she went to study in some international school and after that flew to States for studies. So there's a period of time we kinda lost contact... i think it's the time whereby the conversion of the masses from ICQ to MSN. U know back then... ICQ is kinda popular as compared to MSN.... everyone seemed to be using ICQ... and out of sudden, pple start switching to MSN when MSN came up with the smileys that are animated and more and more functions coming up.

Right... go offtrack... back to story now... So Joan came back to Sg and stupid woman ... nv inform me... was one of the other classmates (forgot who was that...) who told me that she is back for 1 week ++ and gave me her new hp no. I took down her number and sms her. By mistake, i saved her number wrongly... and send it to Kelvin instead.

This is how i get to know him... I was dumb.... totally embarassed.... sending the wrong msg...but we continued our conversation through there...

Sound so Dramatic... some drama series.... but this was what happened.

Went to Sixth Ave to have dinner... some Thai food. I think it's due to long time never meet... and i dunno what to talk about + i'm kinda tired yesterday so i think i must have bored him to death... I'm sorry

So Kelvin asked me if i have any bf now....?
Yeah... y do everyone like to ask this question... well, i don't have... not even seeing anyone.

It will follow by... how come don't have? U must be too choosy!!!
NO... that's not the case... jus that the right one has yet to appear. I don't have really high criteria... i mean just those typical one but more of the "click" that matters.

And it goes on... so what is your criteria like? Must the guy be hot? Must know how to play tennis?
erm... i prefer guys who is outspoken, able to present himself well... and so on .... Must he be HOT? Hahaha... of coz not... u know is like hot guys usually have hot babes... I'm not one of them... i know where i stands... nv classified as hot... and kelvin mentioned that though he is not hot, he still like hot babes. That's a different thing coz there is higher possibility of having hot babes with normal guys but certainly hot guy will match with hot babes. Esp when Kelvin is a flirty-rich kid.... babes flocks to him... ( of coz i did not say that to him... even if i do, i'm jus stating the fact) He was driving an orange Silvia when i first knew him... and now he is driving a Mercedes Benz CLK... and i'm only getting my humble suzuki swift... my swift is not even half of his CLK's price ...oh please... a guy who is only 24 driving that okie... the car is really kinda cool... luxurious... that was my 1st time sitting in a CLK... i sound like some frog deep deep in the well... Hahaha... it feels nice sitting it. Trust me!!! Which girl will resist such a temptation?
As for knowing to play tennis, it would be an advantage if he knows.

He went on asking...How long was your previous relationship last?
About 2 years... and of coz i asked him back... he told me that he had plenty of gfs but more "down to earth" kind only got 4 and 1 of them even lasted for 6 years.... Did i hear wrongly? 6 Years???? hahaha... and tat was when he was in sec sch and JC times. I told him directly that that's kinda expected... only at sec sch and JC times, he was able to be more committed and now he owns so many things... luxurious car... $$$, womans flocking to him... i don't think he is able to commit for so long... plus he's a player now... i mean he did not tell me that he is one.... but from the way he speaks and the things that he tells me... I'm sure he's a player.

So when was the last time we met?
Should be quite long ago... 2 to 3 years back... He was like ARE YOU SURE? He tot it was like jus months or a year back... So i was upgraded by him to OLD FREN category after this meeting. So he asked me what's my age...

Rachel: In october... i ponder to invite you over for my birthday party.

Kelvin: U should ask me when ur birthday day is nearing... then i will know...

Rachel: But it makes a point to tell u now ( i have been telling the whole world too)... which means i booked u way before my b day so there's no excuse that u r not coming. Make sense?

Kelvin: Alright.... hahaha... u r my old fren now... u r more impt... for sure i will come but any single and hot gers there? There's an incentive...

Rachel: Attached hot girls....

Kelvin: Okie.... anything u want for birthday?

Rachel: Nah.... nothing ( but i was thinking in my heart .... really anything i want i would get.....? hahaha i want ur CLK.... hahaha) * Smile*

Rachel: Rubbish no need to buy... u jus grab from rubbish bin will do

The night ended with him sending me home.... and "tell me what u want for ur birthday... cya soon"

U know rich pple do things in weird manner.... hahaha... esp when he was sending me back, there's this car travelling at the outer lane n is like some kinda tortoise speed... ROad HOgging.... Yeah... Kel Horn at him and just zoomed passed him...That's the thing about Sports car on the road... they are the master on the road... Humble suzuki Swift will give way to the master too next time...~Shivers~ but i guess no one likes a driver like that .... ARROGANT... BIG TIME ~SHOW OFF!!!

My Suzuki Swift is on the way...

Over the weekend, we went to see cars again. Practically, me and my brother have been viewing over and over again... kinda tired... know what the sales person gonna say...they jus gonna pass on to me the calculation method for the cash rebate, monthly instalment... i would be able to become a perfect Sales Rep for Suzuki Swift. Well, jus to accompany my dad and mum to see the car we want. Actually, dad prefer vios... and mum prefer Yaris... but we prefer swift... so in the end... swift is our choice...

Booked!!!

If nothing goes wrong, we would be able to collect our new in a few weeks time. Sigh... but we got a manual one whereby we have agreed on the auto one earlier. Yeah, though i'm learning manual car, i jus have the fear that when i'm on the slope, i might jus roll back. Right, i'm kinda lousy in the slope thingy where i need to feel the biting point. Crap... i feel it and it still roll back... I wonder why....

Jus imagine this scenario ... Rachel is driving her new suzuki swift out of the basement carpark... and i gotta stop before the barrier n let the cashcard thingy to be detected and deducted the parking fee.
There's a few cars awaiting behind.... And the moment i'm going to move off, i roll back. ~~BANG~~

Would that happen? That's the thing why i want a auto car. Maybe things dun turn out as bad... but still gotta prepare for the worst.

At first, my brother tot the same way as i did. In the end, he told me... manual car is cheaper and better fuel consumption. True enough, it's cheaper but...... still......

This is the issue that made me pull a long face yesterday after getting the car. They tot that it's because they bought the car from the uncle instead of the younger sales rep that i have been dealing with. Of coz not... Uncle gave us better deal and more experienced in sales.... feel so much comfortable dealing with him coz he know how to crap... he's efficient...

It's jus a matter of Auto or Manual.... that's all....

I was telling Simon yesterday that i think i gotta eat grass when i got my swift. I'm gonna be damn broke. Need to cut down on my spendings.. perhaps do some PT weekend job will be good... haha Edwin was telling me that day his frenz is gonna open a shop in bugis.... Employ me man... haha... A immediate available sales girl is here... no need to waste ur effort finding anymore... Any Lobang???

Done with my car story...

Now it's Great Singapore Sales... and i have not been shopping or stepping into any shopping mall other than the one beside my place. I've gotten a pair of heels... i love it .... it's lovely... caught an eye for that when i stepped into the shop. I nv like the shop coz of the name... but i made it exception this time. It cost me $26.40 if i nv remember wrongly. Mummy is worse.... she got 2 pairs of heels that day from other shops...

Spaghetti-rebus

First time i heard about it --- Spaghetti-rebus.

I was wondering what's that... Hahaha... esp the way my colleague pronouncing it. I can't figure out what's Spaghetti-rebus.

Let me tell u about it... Spaghetti-rebus is actually replace the usual yellow Mee from the Mee rebus with Spaghetti. And that's it.... Spaghetti-rebus... Spaghetti with the Mee rebus sauce and ingredients....

She was telling me... u jus need to go down and tell the auntie u want spaghetti-rebus and she will know.

Guess that's all about Singaporeans... haha... Weird eating style...

Nevertheless, gotta try one day....

It's friday... The day i have waited for so long... haha... i always love friday when it put a clear full-stop to the working week and in return for 2 days of rest. And what adds on to it which makes me even happier---> My salary.... My Fruit of labour

Right... though my pay day... i can't spend as much as i want from now onwards.... gotta tighten my pocket.... erm... should it be my wallet? I'm gonna have responsibilities real soon... My New little Suzuki Swift. U jus simply know how excited i can get when talking about cars these days. Avoid seeing such Rachel... please don't talk about cars.... i will go blah blah blah endlessly....

I need to cut down my expenses...
Frequent visits to Holland V ---> CUT DOWN
Shopping ---> CUT DOWN
Tennis with coach ---> CUT DOWN (get substitute like swimming... cheaper sports)
Food ---> CUT DOWN ( been eating and spending a lot of junk food these days, certainly need to cut down... it's good for me... it's good for health... it's good for me for slimming down.... *grin*)

Mm... one more person praises kiddy Rachel's pictures... When Rach is still a kid, she's really some kinda cutie... Really... I even want my kids to be like the kiddy rachel i used to be. Everytime KY saw these pictures, he will say... "Rachel has this very naughty face since young esp the pic with her brother..." but from what i see... i only can find the word-- cute--- in these pictures ... Hahaha.... i think i get too obesessed in my pictures.

Something i came across today.... that's J display pic... i think it's so funny and wanted him to send me the version of the black eyed pea that he has.

It's really a pea with black eyed.... !!! Hahaha... i like it!!!

I got so angry with that woman that day.... she's none other than my buddy... Yes Miss Sherin...

She called me and wanted to meet up for dinner. She said she wanna eat Yoshinoya coz she has some coupons to be used and that was the last day. So i was thinking.... well fine with me.... comeover to my place here coz got yoshinoya too and she can take the dumplings that my mum made for her.

She happily agreed with it lor.... and was still in some kinda chirpy mood when she was talking to me on the phone. Great man... i called my mum and told her that she will be coming down to take the dumplings.... Kind mummy... she specially go n steamed the dumplings for her lor... so that she no need to heat up again when she goes back.

And guess what.... supposed to meet at 6++ n i msg her after my work, asking her what time she will be reaching. NO reply.... 7 pm... i called her... asking her is she reaching any time soon... she told me she's in town.... GREAT MOVE !!! What is she doing in town whereby she is supposed to meet me at my place? She said that she is not coming already and thought i know about that. How would i know when she drop me an sms on this " hey the coupon only can be used in taka" and i replied her " chey" that means that she is not coming? I don't miss out a single words in the entire sms that she sent.

I'm freaking angry lor... at least inform me that she is not coming. I even told my mum dun cook my share for dinner coz i'm eating with her.

We are drifting away once again... let it be man.... couldn't be bothered anymore...

I recalled she once said that things that i do, i dun feel that i'm wrong but when she did the same thing, i flare up. Is that true? I dunno, maybe.... but i dun think i did anything bad... for the times tat i was late.... i think i feel remorseful n rushed down ASAP by cab. What else? Perhaps on my temper.... I did nothing more.
