Day 1I was on leave on the day of departure. Took the last min packing for my stuff in the morning. Nothing much to pack coz i will be buying all my clothes there. My buddy, sherin, came over to my place at 2.30pm and brother drove us to the airport. Met my uncle and aunt there. Did the necessary check-in for our luggages and went to Macdonald for some small bites before the flight, coz we are taking Jetstar. U know budget air got no meal provided during the flight...
I wanted to buy my MAC foundation there but on second thoughts... i gotta save up... drop the idea... will buy it when i finished my current one. * Sob Sob* Well, nvm... that did not affect my mood... Sherin and me seemed to be extremely chirpy that day...

Reached BKK airport at ard 7.20pm ( Bkk Time) It took us so long to queue for very long.. it was due to those pple ( I think they are from Saudi Arabia) They did not fill up the immigration form and jus jam down there over at the counter. The worse part was those pple from Saudi, they just have one representative queueing up. When they are nearing the counter, one whole bunch of them jus cut in like that. Is not 1, is not 2 of them, is like 10 or even more pple cutting in the queue. For goodness sake man, we were stuck there for 1 hour + and only reached hotel ard 9.30pm.
1st picture took after we landed. We were in the coach on the way to hotel.
The hotel room- They gave us a room for triple
started taking pictures in our roomLeft our luggages in our room and headed down to Chinatown for dinner. I was damn hungry man. We squeezed into one Volvo, charging us at quite a steep price which was so called the limousine service provided by the hotel. 6 pple in one car... LOL... ordered many dishes and our favourite Bird Nest. It's a thingy that i will never miss when i go BKK. Tell u... Sherin was damn funny. She ordered the orange juice. We were expecting those one cup of freshly made orange juice and who knows, it comes with this 1.5 litres bottle of orange juice, tasted a little different. She has difficulties finishing up the bottle of weird tasting orange juice. And from that onwards, i will laugh whenever she ordered orange juice during the trip. I will always disturb her when i see orange juice too.

Day 2
Rise and shine... Took our breakfast over at the hotel. Breakfast there was not too bad. ( Note to Simon: The breakfast in this hotel is better than the one who stayed last yr) Though the breakfast is almost the same everyday, the food taste nice and they even fried egg for u upon ordering. U get to choose what u wanna add in the egg. My favourite is to add Ham and Mushrooms. After the breakfast was the half day city tour. It's kinda boring and no one seemed to be really interested in it. We were more interested in them dropping us at MBK after the tour.
My 1st smile in the morning
The neat room Vs The messy room ( it's jus 1 day time and it turns...)

And it's SHOPPING TIME!!!
MBKsettled our lunch at MBK 5th floor if i nv get it wrongly. It's called the Fifth Avenue. It's something like Marche whereby u have to take a card and ordered using the card. Only when u are leaving, then u pay at the cashier at the exit. It has nice atmosphere and the best thing is u can enjoy a Live band there while eating ur CHEAP and NICE food.

The live bandThey sell these cute little thingys. They are edible for your info. They are like the Ang KuKueh, with the green bean filling, just that the outer layer is made of jelly. They simply look like toys.
We recharged ourselves after the meal and continued our shopping spree. It's kinda sad to see that only me, Sherin and my mum were so into shopping. Uncle, my dad and my aunt waited for us at KFC for entire 4 hours. Poor thing... but they could have gone back to the hotel themselves to rest instead of waiting. They chose to wait...
The hotel that we are staying

Put our barang barang in the hotel and we went for dinner. We wanted to return back to Chinatown to eat but this taxi driver "recommend" us a "nice " place to eat. He drove us there at 20 Baht only, but the price of the food there were like WOW... bloody damn EX. U know we ate Fried rice and 2 veggies, cost us ard 1400 baht. U know it 's ard the same price that we ate at Chinatown and we ate so much better food... like squid, prawns, oysters, Cockles, 2 Veggies and Bird nest. ORH...

See what do we eat.... Lobster... Yum Yum
Nah it's jus a menuBut here comes the interesting thing we decided to go down to the Suan Lum Night Bazaar. No taxi in sight, only a tuk tuk driver. And the tuk tuk driver offered to send us there but the problem is... we have 6 pple there... tuk tuk only can sit 3 pple. The tuk tuk driver taught us how to sit in order to squeeze... and we made it. 6 pple in a tuk tuk... right ... everyone was seeing us... i think it's kinda stylo... isn't it? Went for Thai Body Massage after that. Try to take some pic in tuk tuk...

Nice place to chill out... they even having live band singing English Songs.

Ferris wheel... Romantic

What i got for the day
Day 3
We walked to the Indra centre, Pratunam market for shopping again. Got a few tops there and we went down to Chatuchak in the afternoon by BTS. I dun really like the place. Didn't manage to take any pic there coz i jus can't stand the hot and stuff place. I dun mind paying a little more to shop at a better environment. Hence, we took a cab back to MBK. We had the Japanese Curry pork rice for lunch. Gosh man... i kept eating non-stop. Shopped for quite some time, dad, mum, aunt and uncle went back to hotel 1st while me and sherin stayed on to continue. * Grinz*

Trying out our new shades

And my old Shades

What is she doing?

The walk to Indra centre

She's unhappy about the long wait for our lunch

Here comes our curry pork rice

Our dessert will be bird nest

It's 5200 baht!!!

Taking MRT to Chatuchak

This is how we try our shorts where there is no fitting rooms.
Met up with the others for seafood dinner after that, followed by Durian Treat by the roadside. We were damn full after eating so muhc stuff, returned back to hotel for a rest and met up for foot massage later. Me and Sherin wanted to do manicure n pedicure more but the person said that we gotta wait for 40 mins coz it was full-house. We loitered ard and got ourselves inside a run-down internet cafe. Other than it need some renovation, everything was quite alright there. They even provide web cam, head phones and Mic for you, everything cost 25 baht per hour which is only like $1.20 in SGD. Passing our time at the cafe, we went back to the place for our nails to be done. Unfortunately, only one person can do the nails. sherin did her nails and i did foot massage.

What are we waiting for? Even my aunt and mum are squatting down!!!

It's durians... eating durians by the roadside.

Sherin doing her manicure
Sherin tried to talk to the person who was doing the massage for me. Whatever sherin said, the lady dun seems to understand and jus gave her the silly smile. But when i chat with her, * surprised* she understand what i am talking and even answered. Sherin got so frustrated about it. Well.... LoL...
Day 4
Last day in BKK... It would have been better if i brought more $$ and have a longer stay. We packed our stuff and check out, leaving our luggages with the concierge. We went out for our last shopping. Walked ard at Pratunam... and we went to the Platinum Fashion Mall. Sigh, we could have come here earlier. I prefer the clothes here than the one in MBK. It's cheaper and more fashionable here. The best thing is i wanna look for bags and over there, the bags are the kind i'm looking for. Those big kinda bags whereby u can dump all your things inside. The bags that i bought over at MBK are far too small. But it was the last day then we stepped into The Platinum Mall... i'm kinda broke liao. So i can only pin hope for my next Bangkok trip in Jan 2007. It's been settled about it. We wanna get new yr clothes there. LOLzzz...

My fav shopping mall... i promise to bring more $$ next time to "conquer" u
And what followed up next... went back to hotel and set off for Airport, returning back to Singapore. So sad... that's the end of our trip but wait...... something jus brighten me and sherin a little. Cute Guys.... hahaha.. saw 2 sitting beside us at the KFC in BKK airport. They took the same flight as us too.

Came with 1 bag and left with 3 bags

BKK airport

sherin said that's a camel... it's obvious it's a monkey and looks a bit spastic. Hence, we came up with a name for it "spas-cam-key"

Colourful plane... Bangkok airlines, doing for the domestic flights only

That's the plane we are taking back to sg... Bye bye Thailand!!! * waves*
The end of my 4D3N Bangkok Trip. In all, i bought 3 tee shirts, 4 tops, 3 shorts, 2 pairs of earrings, 1 sunglasses, 1 belt, 2 bags and 6 footwear ( includes flip flop and heels/shoes) for myself. I could have brought more $$ over to buy dresses. The dresses at Suan Lum are really nice. On top of all these, i got many many mosquito bites over there. FREE Gifts from Bkk!!!

I shall be back in Jan 2007. ^_^
*Finally done with this post. Took me quite sometimes to load the pictures. Enjoy!!!*
